Normally I would have a post about my September goals. On August 17, 2016 my devotional was on priorities. The Lord showed me that my priorities were off. I was spending a lot of time trying to complete goals that were not important. I learned that I should seek His face and His will. To let biblical principles and promises guide me in what is important, and what is not. For the rest of the year I will set my priorities according to His will. I will make the best use of my time and energy. I will no longer be chasing goals that are not giving the Lord my best yes!
1. Spending time with God in the morning and at night.
2. Focus on school.
3. When I have down time pick up a book, or meditate on a scripture, or listen to a sermon.
4. Look at my schedule after everything is set, and set one or two hours aside to write my book.
5. Listen to gospel music ONLY
There are other things I want to work on, but these are my top priorities right now. I am eager to practice self control, discipline, and consistency for the rest of the year! I pray you have a blessed and productive September, and I will see you back here on Friday!
