Biblical Tips: How to Enjoy Life

The word that stands out to me in the word enjoy is JOY. The word joy has been showing up everyday this month. In a season where you may not have a job, car, home, two dimes to rub together, a death in the family, loss of a significant other, or etc. The last thing you want to be is joyful, but can I tell you it is like no other. Joy is something that the Lord gives, and the world can not take it away. True joy can be found in the word, and it manifest by applying the word in your life. I found this paper in a folder when I was moving, and placed it in my secret place. I have been looking at this a lot lately as a reminder, and I wanted to share it with you. Here are biblical tips on how to enjoy life.

Encourage yourself with the promises  from God’s word (1 Samuel 30:6)
No condemnation is from the Lord. Line in the power of grace (Romans 8:1)
Joy is for the journey. Choose to be joyful regardless of your circumstances (Romans 15:13)
Obey when the Lord speaks to you (Deuteronomy 11:26-27)
Yesterday is over. Refuse to live in the past (Philippians 3:13-14)

You can choose to think positive thoughts and to have a good attitude (Philippians 4:8)
Outlaw stinking thinking.” Take every ungodly thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5)
Use your gifts and talents to help others (Romans 12:13)
Remember what God has done for you. Be thankful (Psalm 103:2)

Live by faith, not feelings (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Invite Christ into every area of your life (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
Forgive those who hurt you (Ephesians 4:32)
Expect God’s goodness in every situation (Psalms 27:14)

I have created a pretty downloadable for you. You can print this out and put it out wherever you like. Make sure it is up in a place where you can see it everyday. Mediate on these scriptures throughout the day too. When you apply the word of God in your life it changes you! Thank you for reading love. I hope this blesses you in your journey. Love y
