Bible Study | Proverbs 31:25

I am going to break this up into two parts.

Part one: She is clothed with strength and dignity
Clothed means Endow with a particular quality. Strength means the quality or state being strong: Capacity for exertion or endurance. Power of resisting attack. Dignity means The state or quality of being worthy or honor or respect. A sense of self respect!

This says a lot about her character. This is what her son seen when he glanced at his mother. This is what the people around her seen as she walked amongst them. This is what she represents. How do you think these attributes were rooted in her? She reverenced after God. You see you should not be so fixed on people’s opinions of us, but we should care about what you are giving off to people. They will know you by your fruit (Matthew 7;16). You are a representative of the Kingdom of God. Ask yourself “Does my character align with Jesus?” What is on the inside of you will manifest itself outward, and that will be what the ones around you will see. This woman seeked God’s will for her marriage, children, calling, and character! Of course this is a process, but are you going to chase after it. Having that desire to be like Jesus never go out!

Part Two: She laughed at the days to come
She was not anxious!!!
She did not let anything get her raddled! I am pretty sure she has seen a lot in her day, but she did not let that stop her from believing in the promises God spoke to her. Her trust was in God, and God alone! She did not let her mind wander, but she cast it down with laughter knowing I have God who cares what it may look like! Jesus! This woman was bad! She threw shade at the enemy! Do you do that? Do you look at what is up against you, and laugh? Do you believe that you have God on your side, so you shall not be anxious for nothing?

I encourage you to read all of Proverbs 31. My footnotes say that “Do not see her as a model to imitate in every detail. See her as an inspiration to be all you can be.” You can learn a lot from Proverbs do not let this study be all the food you get. I love you, and I pray you learned a lot from this tiny, but powerful scripture! Sleep tight!
