6 Before, During, and After School Scriptures

This semester started off intense! In Maryland we had a huge blizzard and we missed a week of school. Of course at the college level missing the first week of Spring Semester can cause some things to shift. I walked in and was instantly overwhelmed with all the work that needed to be done. Due to this situation that I could not control.  I had to learn to lean on God like never before. I had to encourage myself with His truth over 300 times a day. One day I was sitting in the cafeteria eating, and reached in my purse for something and out came a flash card with a scripture written on it. I forgot all about my flashcards that I made for daily encouragement. I began to read, and felt a soothing peace come over me. Are you feeling like this? Are you overwhelmed? Do you want to give up on your Education? If so then I have a solution for you! Here are six scriptures that helped me get through those couple of weeks of school. You can write them down on a flashcard, and read them before, during, and after class.

Proverbs 4:10-12
10 My child, listen to me and do as I say,
and you will have a long, good life.
11 I will teach you wisdom’s ways
and lead you in straight paths.
12 When you walk, you won’t be held back;
when you run, you won’t stumble.

Hebrews 11:1
Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

James 1:2-4
2 Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

John 14:27
27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Jesus will always be with you! He will give you strength to tackle that paper, wisdom to study, peace while taking the test, and faith that you will complete that course. While you are walking to your next class pull out one of these scriptures, and let fill you up! The best is yet to come! Have a good day loves!
